Montgomery Lineup
Well, the old thread got deleted because it was old, so I'm remaking everything and posting it again. I want to know what newer members and really anyone who happens to venture in here thinks of my lineup, and I want to have a thread that shows the entire lineup in one place. As for the Grand Legend Specs, PR and pricing, as well as SV100 pricing, I have it, it just isn't printed out, and my new computer doesn't connect to our printer (we only have one in the whole house). Anyway, comment please, and I hope you like the Montgomery lineup! Re: Montgomery Lineup (SV)
SV well thought out and executed ideas however the redundant styling of all the models makes the brand kind of bland, just my 2cents. keep up the good work

Re: Montgomery Lineup (SV)
LOL --- WOW! I like the sharp design of the interior. The exteriors are clean and Dodge-like. Fantastic job! Your competitor awaits .

Re: Montgomery Lineup (FSI)
azumi: thanks, montgomery has alot of design traits that i put on every car (basic grille design, headlight shape and LED surrounds mainly), but i'm trying to make the newer designs more unique. FSI: thanks but dodge? hmm, i was going for a european look since this brand is supposed to be german, but that sounds like a compliment, so thanks.

Your interiors have improved so much since i last had a good look! Just try something newish with the front, they look a bit too traditional...but OMFG i love the Icon!!! It looks amazing!

just out of curiousity, it seems like the nova ii, icon, horizon and gyro accomplish pretty much the same thing. what's the difference between them?

the nova II is a small minivan (scenic/zafira/C-MAX competitor), the icon is a compact (focus, golf etc.), the horizon is a small SUV, and the gyro is a supermini. i posted specs and pricing under the pictures (and press releases that usually mention the segment the car is in), so you can tell the difference there

Re: (SV)
Wow! Those are awesome drawings! One comment, the steering wheels on the middle cars interiors look like they're out of the current Ford Freestar-same design, and the last one looks lifted from the Fusion....not bad, but just might be a little bit of a complaint if these cars were ever produced Badge sort of resembles ford too (sorry, don't mean to criticize

thanks yeah, i know the steering wheels are ford clones, and actually, i used the pre-facelift current generation ford mondeo steering wheel design (newer american fords like the freestar and freestyle just use older euro ford steering wheels), which i thought was very cool at the time, on the SV100, which came out in late 2001 (i actually finished the design a year or so later than that, but i'm saying it came out in fall 2001. don't ask). in late 2003 the icon and pioneer came out with the same steering wheel design, but in march 2004 the gyro and nova were introduced, which had a modified steering wheel design. in september 2004, the SV100 was facelifted with the gyro/nova steering wheel. then, in january 2005, the horizon came out with montgomery's all-new corporate steering wheel (which is actually inspired by the latest mercedes m-class steering wheel). the 2006 grand legend, the one shown here, also got that steering wheel when its facelift came in march (the original GL came out at the same time as the SV100). whew. okay, there you go, montgomery's steering wheel history. as for the logo, it used to be an "M" that looked like the mcdonald's golden arches. eventually, two Ms joined together to form an 8 with a line down the middle, and then i put an oval around it and colored it red. the ford similarity, in this case, is a coincidence. i'm pretending the oval with the wierd "8" inside was there from the beginning; montgomery's official history is completely different from how it really evolved.
