This is all I know - it's going to be released sometimes around Feb, 2006, as a 06/07 model, probably 07.

The Saab 9-6x will be based on Subaru's new Tribeca. It is due out in 2006 as a 2007. The vehicle is code-named 00X, and will be produced at Subaru's Indiana factory. It is supposed to resemble the Tribeca in layout and passenger carrying ability, however it is also supposed to be kitted out for luxury and tuned for sporty driving.

Hopefully Saab will do a little more to differentiate its version from the Subaru. Especially in the case of the Tribeca. This simple rebadging business needs to stop! I like the chop of the exterior, though.

It looks way much better than the Subaru Tribeca...

My gf has the Saab 9-2X and its a blast to drive and the interior is a bit much better than the one on the Impreza WRX wagon

now all we need is a sports car from Saab based on the Kappa platform

It's a 9-7x chop, and looks nothing like the tribeca. I'd have to say it looks very saab like incorporating new saab styling.

Rumour is that it will have a 2.8 litre V6, with 250bhp

9-6x will get a Subaru engine. the 2.8 litre turbo v6 goes to the 9-3.

What happened to the 9-7 that's based on the Chevy Trailblazer? I haven't heard anything about it lately, will it go in production?
