Hyundai invading a VW stronghold in Brazil?? Should definitely be an interesting fight. Maybe they will teach VW something about being competitive and "in the moment" that VW could apply elsewhere.

Fiat is as strong as VW in Brazil. GM is not too far behind. Hyundai will be facing some stiff competition, especially with Toyota now soon producing the Etios (Toyota is a very respectable brand in Brazil, having first set foot down there in the 50s).

The sideview gives me actually more of a Kia Picanto vibe. Could it be a replacement for the i10?

Isn't this the new sub-i10 vehicle? Looking at the photos, it would appear that the rear windows are fixed in place.
