I agree. A Ferrari hybrid is a masterful idea, wrapping it in the 599...not so masterful.
the angle and color don't really help teh situation but in real life, the 599 is one of the best looking Ferrari's ever made, especially next to a 612. whats dumb is that Ferrari should be sending the message that you can get a hybrid Ferrari without having it look like a Prius, yet they paint the 599 in what might as well be called Economy Green.
Heh I'm seeing an ad for Sprint's "eco-friedlier" Samsung Reclaim right above the Ferrari and it's exactly the same green and black color combo, lol!
I also think the 599 is a beautiful car. But if Lamborghini could get away with their ridiculous paint options for all these years, then I think we can let this one slide...

The 599 compared to the 612 is indeed better looking but that's a bit like saying next to the Panamera the new Cayenne looks svelte. The 599 from the base of the windshield back is masterful and inspired especially the flow through C pillar, but the "eyes" are too googly for me to rank it among the best that Ferrari has ever done. It's a B+ for me. I'd have given the hybrid 599 a new and distinctive nose. I also wonder how much heroin was shot to come up with the cliched green paint job.

But everything looks better than a 612, so it's not difficult beating that one.
The 599 is 'meh' to me. The C-pillar treatment is interesting, but otherwise... meh. The inoffensive 550 Maranello was a much better and pleasing design in my opinion.
