That interior is pretty outstanding considering the likely price, but the exterior is straight out of 1995...I mean sure I'll excuse outdated proportions, but would it have been so difficult to style it a little more attractively?

I think it's more extensive than a repurposed previous gen Yaris/ECHO/Vitz/Belta, but even then, it doesn't make the car not-"brand new".

I think its great for a budget car.

Truly hideous dash. Toyota: the instruments go IN FRONT OF THE DRIVER. Even for a cheap car the dash looks cheap and ill-fitting like it was installed crooked somehow.

It's always baffled me why Toyota has so many nameplates and so many cars that are essentially similar. The sedan just looks horrible.
