The interior looks very nice... for a budget car, at least. The paint + wheel colour combo on the car above looks great.

The interior looks to be on the same level as the Yaris, honestly. Not that the Yaris has such a great interior style and quality wise, but it's okay. And the Yaris is one of the most expensive superminis. Now putting something comparable into a Logan competitor is a nice touch.
Exterior is a bit dull, the grille even ugly, but alltogether, it doesn't look "cheap" or "3rd world" at all....

The front looks like a Subaru Impreza.

I doubt those who shop for vehicles at this price point will be primarily concerned with looks. If Toyota prices this car right (say, to compete with the Fiat Palio in Brazil or Russia) I do believe it will be a winner. The Etios is backed by Toyota's reputation for quality and durability, it has good engines, a nice interior for the category, and relatively good looks.

Well, that's a nice surprise
Shame it won't be coming to Europe though, i could see this as a Daihatsu. Or even maybe as a Corolla ( and yes, i know it would make for a very messy euro line up, but when i think Corolla i think of the very first ones, just basic, well engineered, honest, affordable cars, like this seems to be )

It's like Toyota beat the old Yaris/ECHO/Vitz/Belta with the super-ugly stick.
But the interior looks damn nice.
