looks like a very early concept for the next 3. im sure the design wont be focus of the concept though.
BMW is gonna have a very interesting Frankfurt. Theres this, the rumored new brand (Isetta?), Mini Crossover, new 5er, RR Ghost, and more?

and autoblog makes a good point. the high ride height may just be because of the shipping blocks.

exl500 - that is very, very likely. My money is on 6-series / 6-series variant preview.

Looks very interesting, but not anything like the R8 / 911 / SLS competitor I was hoping for. However, if the ride height is actually that high, this may be another crossover...

It looks like the next 6 Series with every ugly gene beaten out of it. LOVE

I've seen these pics posted on Autoblog, as well, and I took a good look at the link posted in the first post in this thread, including reading the post within it, well written by famous BMW "mole" SCOTT26 (sometimes the number right of the 2 does change or vary), and, so far, I'll have to say that I'm impressed and it helped to make my day!

We know that BMW had announced a "green" supercar some time ago, and that it will appear in the upcoming Frankfurt auto expo. The "green" supercar is perceived to be a mid-rear engine, perhaps influenced by the M1 Homage from earlier on, and this spy-pic seems to show a larger vehicle with a front engine and with minimal front overhang. This could be a concept pointing the way to either the next-generation 6-Series, or perhaps the GT variant of the 6-Series, which reports on this have come up every so often. There even appears to be space behind the rear of the front door, to allow for a set of rear-doors, and according to reports, it may be coach/rear-hinged for production!

I'm not sure what this is, but, we should find out eventually!
