from forum-peugeot

A bit different but still similar to the current pug styling, I am wondering if in the side view, the shape will actually be like that, I know the angle is off, but it looks almost sporty.

That's a nice find, very avant-garde and dramatic. I wonder if or when Peugeot will re-enter the USDM?
It had been talked about before.

The 407 was only released in like 2004 wasn't it. I think this is the 608 personally. Looks far too premium to be just a 408?

The 608 is supposed to look like the picture below, with camel-toe nose and all. But again this looks diferent?

The car above is too small to be a 608, look at the wheelbase.

Looks like a great evolution of the current 407 and looks very sleek/sporty and cool. I hope this is the real deal and not just a rejected design... rejected for being to good looking.

I don't think it looks too premium for a 408, all cars in this segment appear a lot more premium nowadays than actual premium offerings sometimes. It looks good, it probably has a lot of styling influences from the latest Peugeot sportscar concept which would be great. The interior of the 3008 and 308cc is amazing so the 408's should be even better and more premium-looking. If they manage to give it great proportions and not too-cartoony looks this will be a great looking car

Is it just me or is there something iffy about the c-pillar when looking at the black / navy car?

If we could only be that lucky... I'm all for more options...

I know there are a lot of Chrysler dealers that could be put to good use.

Indeed this somehow looks as if it could sit well with the Chrysler badge

I don't think that's an actual car. My guess is it's a 3D model grained and blurred to appear real, but it's not; the surfaces and details are far too crude, the nose is far too short and blunt. Plus the styling looks nothing like that recent mid-engined four-door concept that's supposed to preview the 408.
