Good:

- love the roofline, much more interesting than before. I'm suprised because I thought they couldnt improve the perfect roofline they already have!

- Headlights look sleeker, without the kink it would be perfect. The kink isnt as bad as I thought it would be but I still dont like it.

- Front bumper is chunkier.

- Wheel arches are very wide!

but:

- sideskirts should be more interesting.

- not feeling the wheels.

- 350Z proportions were perfect, not sure if I like it 4 inches shorter. However, I wont complain just yet because we dont know the performance gains. I'm not going to say more till I see official pics or better pics.

love the rear shoulders. it almost looks shooting-brake like. and the Nismo version will probably get more interesting body effects.

Exactly what i was thinking! It looks great overall, not sure if i like the front as much, the opening on the bumper brings to mind Mazda's such as the RX-8 more than a Nissan but overall (and given how awful many current Nissan designs are) this is very very promising. I just hope the front overhang isn't so much longer than the rear as it appears in both this shot and the previous teaser

That whole 'shooting brake' look, to me was unexpected however i gotta say i like it. Those are huge wheel arch bulges too especially the rear ones. It does look very plain otherwise, especially the front bumper. Wonder how the roadster will turn out.

Nissan have lifted the game with these V6s, everyone is producing 3.5L DI V6s atm producing 300hp +/- 10hp. Now theyve gone up to 3.7L with alot more then 300hp, i wonder if anyone else will follow (like Toyota/Lexus with their 2GR-FSE, will they increase the capacity or work out a way to increase hp to match the Nissan)

It looks like the greenhouse is trying to evoke the 240Z. The V shaped headlights are "unique" and the picture is pretty unflattering. Let's hope an accurate picture dispels that.

It has a nice, muscular stance, especially where the wheel arches/flairs are concerned, and it also appears to have a long aggressive nose, which recalls Z cars of the past. From the pictured angle, the greenhouse is nicely done with the B-pillar being more integrated appearing and discrete, a similar treatment from what was shown in latest Porsche 911 face-lift (or next generation) spy-shots.

It's said to be some 4" shorter than the current generation Z - then again, the Corvette C6 is 5" shorter than the C5 predecessor and the C6 is far more sexier, aggressive, sophisticated, overall superior, and cut than the C5. The overhangs were shortened in the C6 while the wheelbase grew an inch.

The 350Z has never quite hit the mark for me. This looks better, though it'd be nice to see the car from other angles.

It's good to see a car maker reducing a model's size, though.

I'll second that. Nissan seems to be doing a good job keeping models the same size or smaller than the prev. gen. First the Maxima, now this.

I like the changes. Things like the greenhouse and the body lines give it character and pay homage to the classics.
