Default Monte Carlo

Base engine: 3.5-liter V-6
Horsepower: 210
Height:55.8 inches
Width:72.9 inches
Length:196.7 inches
Curb weight: not determined
What the automaker says:"The '06 Impala and Monte Carlo wear a new look, both inside and out, that conveys sophistication and exudes big-car roominess."
What you should know: Chevy woos fans of big power with an optional 303-hp, 5.3-liter V-8 in it's mid-sized cars.
Production possibility: Production starts next summer

well...atleast the front end looks much nicer, and hopefully the interior will be also...but I cant believe they kept that ugly-ass rear end...oh well...still looks worlds better than the current gen...

I'm sorry, but this is really lame. Why didn't they change ANyTHING in the rear? AS IF it were a beauty... NOT. I'm speechless.

How old is this car?

Looks like it could have been made a good 10 years ago.

One of the cars biggest flaws was its back end, and in typical GM fassion they did nothing about it. I will say the front looks better but I'm not sure if the front styling goes with the rear styling.

I think the rear aerodynamically works really well in NASCAR perhaps that was the reason they didn't change it. Its still an ugly car though. Unlike the Impala, which was well designed, but needed work on front and rear end.

I just noticed that the headlights are identical to the Impala's. It really is the return of the Lumina. I was just joking about that before, but now it is even more appropriate...

That Lumina Joke is actually accurate. If I recall correctly, this montecarlo was indeed lumina based.
