I don't really like my steelies, they make the wheels look to small because they're only 15".
But to each they're own.

I hate the used car market. Everything is so out of whack. Looking for a small stickshift runabout should not be this hard. Might have to wait some more by default.

Ended up with a 2007 Toyota Yaris S with the five-speed. I like it, and I got a good deal, too!

Pic from the dealer lot.
Should prove to be far more reliable than my old Focus. I was spending over $200 a month in repairs.

Had a bit of a moment yesterday.
Fixing up my old banger and realised I wanted something with a bit more pride of ownership.. But being a student it has to be cheap.
One 10 min eBay search later and i'd bid £500 on a Volvo C70 2.4 GT thinking it was ridiculously low and no chance i'd win it, these should still be 4 figure sums.
Turns out good thing about living away from the main populated hub of England is no-one wants to travel for an old car so I won it for £460!
Is bright metallic Orange/Gold and hopefully will have time to pick up later.

Lovely car. How come that used cars in Britain are so cheap? Somethig like this costs easily 6-7.000 EUR in the rest of Europe (and not talking about high price scandinavian countries).
(Btw., I always ask myself the same at Top gear challenges...)
