That is facelift no. 3 at least, correct?

Pathetic re-facing of an ugly car.

Lipstick on a pig. For a company that is so focused on SUVs/crossovers, they're REALLY dialing it in.

I can't help but think that Mitsubishi is in the last steps of death; New cars are so rare, and even when saying that they focus on SUVs, this,m sold in probably the hottest segment, is 8 years old, with merely cosmetic facelifts, lacking any modern engine and, as I suppose the lack of interior shots suggests no changes there, an ancient interior that wasn't really fresh when released;
The Outlander, at least available as a PHEV, is also far from fresh (released in 2013), and outclassed as a car by nearly everything by now.
The Eclipse Cross has pretty much failed to make an impact on teh market, I hardly ever see one (despite, again, in a crazily growing segment), and again the engine lineup leaves a lot to be desired.
And where is a new Pajero/Shogun, their most valuable label? (let alone the by now non existent car lineup)

Here's the interior, basically just a revised center stack for the infotainment system and trim around the shifter, so you're pretty much right:

Actually worldwide Mitsubishi is doing pretty well in terms of both sales and profits with new products like the Eclipse Cross:

Sure Jan. You think the Eclipse Cross is doing WELL? It’s been almost universally panned in reviews. Also, raw sales figures are hardly any indicator unless compared against the competition. How’s it doing compared to those it’s up against? And please cite a source OTHER than Mitsubishi itself...

I don't know, again, given the Eclipse Cross is brand new and was - at least in Europe - on sale the whole previous year, not even 80k units seem sad; It is outsold by the already 5 year old Outlander (again, far from being the class leader) 3:1, without counting the PHEV version, or even the XPANDER; a car I have never heard of and probably is limited to the ASEAN region, the last place where Mitsubishi still seems to do really well; ALso, the lack of the ASX and Mirage in the sales statistics are probably an indicator for their "success".

Unless the whole Renault Nissan group manages to get some new models out on their platforms for Mitsubishi, I don't see a bright future, and to me that is sad, for most of the late 80ies and 90ies, they had a great lineup and some of the best looking cars in their segment (especially the Galants were really attractive, and the SHogun/Pajeros outsold everything with 4WD outside the US)
