Default 2011/2012 Porsche 911 (998) Turbo

911 (998) Turbo spotted in heavy rain

I love the fact that lights are more upright. It reminds me of the 964, which to me is the best looking 911.

Wish I could say I cared...

I'm driving a 911 Carrera 4S right now, for a few weeks, and I find nothing interesting about it. In fact, it reminds me of the Porsche Boxster I drove about 6 weeks ago.

I really don't care. It's a good car, but it's too old to be intresting now.

isnt sad that this has no more or less camo than panamera mules that are probably a little farther ahead in development?

Poor Porsche. They're losing their minds.

More upright headlights and a longer tail could make a revolution in 911 design theme......well, not really. As i said in another post, this is what Porsche does. So control the hype guys, in case there would be any.

About these upright headlights........I think they are fake. If you look about halfway along the wing, there is a kink in the line as it flows towards the headlights. The front portion is a fake. It also makes sense that the front of the car is well hidden, because the rear of the car is so bogged down in fake panels.

What I find sad is that Porsche has resigned itself to being unable to create any icons past the 911. The 356 was an icon and granted the 911 is, but it's time to move on with a modern platform and an engine behind the rear wheels is as ridiculous today as is the Mustang's live axle. Yes, I'll be crucified for saying that.
