Has anyone seen one in real life yet? I went to my Toyota dealership to have my airbag refitted and was a bit disappointed because I had hoped I'd catch a glimpse of it.

Saw one recently. It looks pretty much like it does it photos. A bit shorter than you would expect (vs. previous Supras), but not surprisingly when you read the specs.

Not particularly interesting looking in real life, to be honest.

I did a test drive recently. Looks nice, especially in black.
Considering the price I'd go for something else, though.

It is not exactly the type of car you see on a daily basis. I don't know how many they were expecting to sell, but myself I have not seen one yet.

Yeah, I've heard that people compare it to the GT86 in terms of size.

Just out of curiousity - what would you go for instead at the price?

Maybe I'm being a little impatient - I'm not sure how long ago it became available to purchase here in the UK. But if it's still not in the showrooms, that suggests that either it's not widely available yet, or they have very little stock.

I've seen a few at the Cars, Coffee, Dogs, Yoga Pants events. Its one of those designs that's more for design sake than function.

Everything about the damn car is about meeting criteria than Toyota developing a functional (meaningful?) performance car to a price target.

And i'm still not convinced they couldnt have built a better car starting with the RC-F or BRZ as the basis. Whatever.

But hey, its finely tuned and the beer belly car mags like it.

So now the US receives the 2.0L inline 4 and more power for the 3.0L inline 6. No choice in transmissions.

Wake me up when the next 86 is rumored.
