Default Mercedes E Class Coupe

https://drivemag.com/red-calipers/in...e-class-coupes

So this article got me thinking, what if the E Class Coupe had the grill from the sedan?

Result:

What do you think?

nice looking car either way but i think the actual grill fits better. maybe the S class coupe would be a different story.

I'm in the apparent minority who much prefers the classic Mercedes grille, as it is really something no one has (probably except Rolls Royce nowadays). The star at the end of the hood is just something different. The nowadays used everywhere grille was great for the SL and sports cars, but I wouldn#t mind coupes returning to the classic Mercedes look....

the upcoming facelifts it seems will kill the classic grill on the E class, unless MB will offer 2 different front grill designs. Perhaps only the S class will keep the traditional grill.

I am aware of that, and I do find it very sad;

It was a very classic Benz element, but apparently it is not aggressive enough for the currnet theme among German brands, with all their love for aggressive lines, overload of mostly fake vents, exhausts and other details a Honda Civic tunerboy would have been proud of back in NFS Underground days...
