well, if they wanted to compete with the Prius for the title of ugliest "green" car, this wins hands down.

"thank goodness it's china only" - rest of the world - yet more proof they are completely taste-free over there.

Looks like a cross between a current Toyota Auris estate and a BMW i3 for detailing; Also looks like it's kind of Opel Astra based.

I thought that the concept of mashing up two words to make a car's name died in the 90's. Velite?

It does look like a mix of different makes and cars all mashed together. But I've seen lots worse - like say a Prius...

Velite was also the name of a concept roadster.

While this is a mess of lines, I'm sorry but this is nowhere near as ugly as the Prius. At least it looks like a car...

Very Toyota, with a few random creases at odd angles. Weird.

for me, the lack of resting-predator-face makes it better than anything from Toyletta

Completely agree on all counts. I rather like the styling mish mash. There's some Astra Tourer architecture in there somewhere too I reckon.

One thing I DON'T agree with is the fact its described as a crossover. Its clearly an estate car.
