Default 2020 Ford Puma

https://www.carscoops.com/2019/01/my...g-europe-2020/

Okay, it seems this small, Fiesta based CUV really won't be a baby Bronco after all, but really their proper smaller than Escape CUV (and what will likely go against a Qashqai, Tr-Roc etc., at the same time also making it clear that the nearly undisguised car in the last days is indeed teh Escape/Kuga)

This looks like the upcoming Kuga scaled down in a Photo copier design wise, no more "developing markets"proportions of the current EcoSPort....

This appears to be Ford's next gen EcoSport.

Here's a spy photo from last year of mule using a modified Fiesta body with 5-lug wheels.

The number of lugs can change, it doesn't necessarily mean it is Focus-based. Remember the Honda HR-V which has 5-lugs is based on the platform of the Honda Fit/Jazz which has 4-lugs.

Yes, these are two distinct vehicles, not even on the same platform.

The baby Bronco is based on the new Focus platform like the upcoming next gen Escape.

Default 2020 Ford Puma

Posting this in relation to the Ecosport, but this thread still needs to be split in two. Thread can also be updated to "Puma" for the Ecosport portion.

Confirmed and Puma teased, I assume as part of the Escape/Kuga reveal:

Only moved the spy pics and teaser, no use in moving conversations over since they are mixed, those can remain in the baby bronco thread which is now split from this puma.

Yes, though I'*d say dull, not ugly; But, in comparison to the EcoSport, this design language is a step forward, unlike it is with the Escape/Kuga;

But, if this thing is ready, why did Ford even bother with introducing the not so great and dated EcoSPort to the US for probably a year or 2 at max; Good thing though they ditch the EcoSPort name, but why reuse a Coupe's name liek Mitsubishi, and not Maverick that would have been way more fitting for a CUV?

See, I think the dowdy Ecosport looks better than this feminine mess. I'm very disappointed in Ford's styling in their recent efforts from the all-new-but-looks-old Explorer, to the utterly terrible Escape/Kuga, to this.

Because it's not out as of yet and this way Ford was able to make a nice chunk of change on the existing vehicle with little to no additional expense for 2-3 years.

Honda did the same thing with the first generation Fit. It came here as a 2007 and was replaced 2 years later because the Jazz it was based on had been on sale for a number of years already.

Puma was a unique conpact 2 door FWD sporty (/sports)car, now it will be a generic FWD boring so-called crossover, call it crossunder.
