My theoretical issue is that the car presumably won't drive anything like an FX. My impression of the FX is that it was the "pre-Macan." A FWD-based platform just isn't going to be able to replicate that.
I guess it's a good thing that it'll look like the FX (which I thought was quite handsome), but I actually already like Infiniti's exterior design language (QX60 aside), so another handsome "coupe" SUV just doesn't that compelling. I feel like Infiniti needs more coherence about what the brand image is, rather than what the cars look like.
