Default 2021 Infiniti QX55

The INFINITI QX55 is a stunning new SUV coupe in the heart of one of the industry’s fastest growing segments, globally,” said Infiniti deputy chairman Mike Colleran. “Customers will appreciate the distinctive design of the QX55 which features a sporty coupe-like roofline. We know customers and retailers are eagerly looking forward to the QX55 which will be available next year

Motor1 (and no doubt other car outlets) got a sneak peak and said it's very reminiscent of the original FX and appears to move the brand forward stylistically. Let's hope!!

Ascariss: Supposedly a 2021, so I updated the thread title.

Based on the QX50, so I worry that the dated interior will remain largely unchanged....

Agreed, albeit with Infiniti's just announced new infotainment software that supports Android Auto and Carplay.

A sign of the time that phone-compatibility is probably all most buyers care about. ::sigh::

My theoretical issue is that the car presumably won't drive anything like an FX. My impression of the FX is that it was the "pre-Macan." A FWD-based platform just isn't going to be able to replicate that.

I guess it's a good thing that it'll look like the FX (which I thought was quite handsome), but I actually already like Infiniti's exterior design language (QX60 aside), so another handsome "coupe" SUV just doesn't that compelling. I feel like Infiniti needs more coherence about what the brand image is, rather than what the cars look like.
