Default Ford Bronco II issues

Not sure where to put this.... Automobile Mag just put out a really interesting article on all the issues w/ the Bronco II (incl that Ford was still settling lawsuits as late 2012!). Also, the original Explorer didn't have stability index that was all that much better than the Bronco II (which may have contributed to the Firestone issue).

I remember this quite well, I think it featured on primetime news.

The Explorer would go on to rule the SUV market, somehow gaining the highest marks over at Consumer Reports, who was found guilty of rigging the Samurai and Trooper tests.

I'm still trying to find info about the Trooper, but this article would rather strongly suggest that CR was not found guilty of anything regarding the Samurai:

I could be wrong on the Samurai, but the Trooper was rigged

Strangely, no damages were awarded
