Just over a year from its first siting... now with a bit less camo, big nostrils on display out front.

Do we know what the size of this is? Looks a little small?
Wondering how pointless the new EV X3 is with this under a year away...

It seems to be between the iX3 and the X5, so close to an EQC and E-Tron competitor? Still have no idea what it’s gonna really look like. Word is it might be dubbed “iX” in production.

What's with these idiotic naming schemes these days...

The E-Tron leaves nothing the rest of the future EV lineup... Or are they gunna go with "Letter"-Tron? Or E-"other word"? I don't get it.

What would be after the iX then? I'm sort of surprised they didn't try to reinvent the i# scheme. Drop the i3, and just assign the number to the corresponding gas powered X car. This would be an i3 or i5 maybe.

Then again VW is perusing ID3 now... ugh. Too many alphabet soup names.

There's a bit of X2 in the D-pillar.... And this is otherwise totally anonymous.

That anonymous look is my major gripe with the newest BMWs, even more so than the size of the nostrils; FOr decades, you could tell it'S a BMW by some basic elements (that were untouched even by CHris BAngle) like a characteristic belt line crease, the Hofmeister kink, the twin round headlights (their "corona - yes we know, but that's the name - LED rings were probably the first LED signature 20 years ago, iconic and have been recently dumped for a look that could be an AUdi or Kia or frankly, anything) etc.; All that is gone, and in all honesty, a new 1 series, 2 series GC or even the 4 series or 8 series, could - even if not all of them look actually bad - be anything, and this is likely no exception.

That sadi - what size is this? Looks pretty close to the recently revealed iX3, if I had to guess from the photos...

BMW and its own downwards spiral. Now with an Audi hatch rip off!. Really sad. There was a time when all I wanted was a BMW of any kind, but nowadays only the 3er and the 5er make the cut. All of their other lineup is f****d up.

I fully agree on that; ANd, tbh. I have very little hope that they will be miraculously spared from that spiral in their next gen, visually.

Right - re: the 2 coupe the leaks of the new one make it much more in line with these other recent travesties.
