Default Hyundai Vision T Concept

Coming to LA, as a PHEV, clearly previews the new Tucson:

Again, the side view has IMO quite some hints of the Lexus NX, be it creasing, edgy wheel arches or green house deign, but altogether, not a bad looking car; I might end up quite liking this, by CUV standards.

Certainly quite a departure from the current Tuscon and rather upscale-looking (although who knows how much will carry over from the concept). I certainly hope that the next-gen Tuscon includes a hybrid/plug in model.

Not quite sure how I feel about the new Hyundai grilles. I prefer smaller holes (like that found in MB models). Ditto about the tailight graphics (which I fear will likely make it to production). Both the light-up grille and tailights seem like their just trying way too hard to be cool and edgy.

And I'm glad at least one manufacturer knows how to spell "Vision" correctly!

I mean we've seen most of the Tucson uncovered in spy shots, so it's mostly going to be intact. Re: the headlights in the grille, I wouldn't be shocked if those make it to production, especially considering the facelifted Grandeur has a similar design and the new Sonata hides the DRLs under "chrome" strips.
