SEAT El-Born & VW ID.4 sibling. It was to be expected.

I sincerely hope that the front end will look less wannabe BMW, and especially that the full width LED upfront won't make it into production; We don't need more Vegas bling on the cars than we already have...

Is it an ID.4 sibling or an El-Born sibling? The ID.4 is the upcoming crossover, whereas the El-Born and ID.3 are the hatch...

Yeah, this is a ID.4 relative, but I wouldn't be surprised if there will be a SEAT cousin as well at some point.

TBH, they are not that far away from each other. I believe the El-Born will be a bit higher than the ID.3, and the ID.4 will be quite low for a SUV, CUV or whatever name they give it. Borders are difficult to spot these days.

Right my point was more that the El-Born and ID.3 basically share the same body, greenhouse, etc...whereas the ID.4 does not. Id wager if this was a rebadge of the El-Born and ID.3 it would similarly mirror the other two hatches.

As expected, basically an ID.4:

With all those rebadges across all brands (including, sadly, Bentley), and one design language for all brands, the Volkswagen Group has really become the GM of the 1980ies; DO we really need the same cars with all badges and minimal identity?

Curious if Seat will also get a copy of this for their brand.

I wouldn't exactly be surprised if they did, ofcourse, with minimal changes.
