I also think the car looks horribly cheap in places. The front end has the unfinished look of a Tesla (which I think is Tesla's weakest design element) + boyracer car (as others mentioned), the chrome trim around the quarter rear side window is horrid, the window upturn is too abrupt, and that metallic trim (which I assume is real) around the air vents looks like it belongs in a Kia. A LAST-GENERATION Kia.

The side and rear look good but that front...? It looks like a Tesla mixed with a Toyota. And the lime green makes it look even worse i think.

Love love love love it. I love how minimal the face is. Screw traditional front ends with a ridiculous mess of inlets and lights. The thing I'm disappointed by is the sensor integration (they're just black circles scattered in the grille...). There's some great Vulcan inspiration here though.

Love the rear. Love the side. This is perfection. The taillight is sexy. Such nice detailing and proportions overall. The outgoing model is starting to look fat and slab sided. This is clean and athletic looking.

I question the interior a bit, but it's sure an improvement of that huge dated center stack.

I prefer the cleaner front end of the James Bond DB10.

DB10

The interior is a step back.

It looks exactly like a 25k supercar should look like. The only things worth saving are the back and when you open the hood.

Surprised to see so few people seem to like it in general apart form me. Yes, the front end is weird so far, but it looks futuristic, and AM had to move on visually, the design was played out (something many German premium car makers fail to realize; ALso, AM had Ford using their grille as well). I wait to see this in flesh, but I have the feeling the minimalist look will look better in real life than it does on photos. And sideview, proportions ad rear end are IMO close to perfection....

Where I do agree that it is not great is the interior, which combines the lower half of an AMG GT with the air vents and SC controls that look more at home in a funky super mini like a Citroen C1 or Renault Twingo than in a Aston Martin. And whilst people loved to complain about parts sharing with Volvo or Ford in previous models (though personally I failed to see any Ford part apart from probably a switch for the electric lumbar support), here the Mercedes parts are very obviously everywhere, and even there not the most tasteful ones

The front does look strange in pictures, but it will be interesting to see it in the flesh where it may work better. I find the side air vents are a little jarring too. It's otherwise quite stunning, the rear end in particular.

It would rather be better if it had Toyota parts than cheap Mercedes parts.

I know that when I think "Mercedes", I think "cheap".
