I think that the tire on the back is just an option.

I think Porsche nailed this one. It looks sleeker and more agressive, but not at all overdone. The SRX is still my favorite luxery SUV, but the Cayenne will continue to turn heads.

Does look much better. However looks like a tuner version IMO...

I think porsche knows well what has got to be done to give cayenne a final touch that gives it an even more outstanding aesthetic!

To me the cayenne turbo is the best suv in the world, better than the G55 or the RangeRover supercharged V8 405cv

I am pretty sure it is, because I have seen several Cayennes around me that have the tire on the back, so this is probably just an option Porsche is using for testing purposes (I pray it is, atleast)

What was wrong with the original/current Cayenne?

Check out the New Style "light strips", below the headlights on both the updated Cayenne and the 2007 911 Turbo.

At first I thought the "strips" on the 911 Turbo Mule were just the regular lights below the headlights on the standard 997 911.. but now I'm not so sure... Porsche could possibly want to make the 911 Turbo even MORE Unique.

I believe the lights will be similar to the Boxster. on Both the 997 Turbo, and Cayenne update.

Very interesting..

The updated Cayenne might also use a similar lighting system as the upcoming Audi Q7.
