...which makes perfect sense if they came out with a totally new car.
But if the NA car is just the Euro car with a different grill, wheels, and tail lights... what exactly took the extra year, and caused Toyota to deviate form their normally rigid 5 year replacement schedule? I'm not saying I expected it in January 2007, which is when the European model was made available. But I would have thought that they'd have it ready by September or October, and release it as a 2008 model.
