Cool pic but i doubt it will ever happen, BMW has MINI for that segment, i think the 1-Series is as small as a BMW should get. Oh and FWD? No thanks

It will come, its announced, not only a rumour, release will be after Audi A1.

Autocar magazine did an article on this, but as far as i'm aware it isn't for definate and the car could wear a MINI badge although they'd prefer the BMW badge so they can charge more for it.

Will they call it the 0 (zero) Series? LOL They ought to toss the Mini into BMW dealerships in markets where Mini is not represented and market the Mini as an overt division of BMW rather than create a Sub-1 BMW.

I don't think so. That's why they're reluctant to put the MINI badge on it... They'd have to price it less than the MINI one/cooper. If they put the BMW badge on it they could charge the same as the MINI even though it would be smaller.
