S2000 is rumored to debut in Tokyo (probably in concept form).

Maybe a new CR-Z too (more doubtful).

The new Civic (both Type R and base) and further work on the NSX (R model in development now) is proof enough for me that Honda is clearly working on regaining their enthusiast image.

We live in an era now with a new NSX, Civic Type R sold in America, Supra on the way, S2000 coming soon, and an new rotary coupe from Mazda. Japan is cranking out its rebirth one model at a time.
It's more fun to drive a slow car fast than a fast car slow.

Toyota used it's engineering might to build a few very impressive cars and a massive amount of boring reliable stuff. Honda was definitely the livelier of the 2 across the board until the turn of the century.

Honda engineers loved to drink, smoke, party and have fun, but then that era stopped. When you are getting paid 10-20k less than your competitors in the midwest for a job in CA, then that is a problem. A lot of Berkman's frustrations come from the fact that Honda does not pay their US workers and treating them like students can cause frustration. Supposedly there is a high turnover.

Apparently, S2000 might not be unveiled until LA. Supra is looking like a NAIAS debut as the US is going to be the largest market for this car.

Z has been delayed for a couple of years like the GT-R (waiting on tech?)
