Default 2014 Audi TT mk3

And the 4th Audi rendering for this week on this forum. After the A3 Sedan, Sportback and A1 station, this is the 2014 Audi TT Mk.3

The third Audi TT will be unveiled next year. Somebody asked me to make an impression of it.

It will have some styling ques of the Audi Crosslane Concept. This is a 2 door targa SUV, just like the Steppenwolf from 2001. This Steppenwolf concept had a lot of styling from the Audi TT Mk1 that was unveiled later.

Hope you like it!

Looks good! But, to be fair, just because the Steppenwolf had TT styling cues doesn't mean the Crosslane has to signal the TT's design direction. At the time of the Steppenwolf, Audi had no SUVs/Crossovers which is now not the case.

Given that Audi has stated they'll be differentiating styling between their sedans/coupes and SUVs/Crossovers, I don't expect the next TT to take styling cues from the Crosslane. If anything the Crosslane hints at the next Q5 or Q7.

Looks like probably what will be built but the current one in no way is as captivating to look at as the original. I think it's time to pull the plug on the TT and let the Boxster/Cayman do the work for VWAG.

If you look around on the internet there are so many directions with TT3 renders, and not a single one give you a indication of the direction Audi will take with the next gen TT.
All of them could look like what it will be.

I really start to think what ever direction Audi would choose for the next TT, it's the wrong one.

Thanks everyone!
It's weird that the design of the new TT is not easy to predict, because the boring and same styling of the whole Audi range is quite predictable.
