I do admit one thing though:

That Piano Black interior is godly (and this is the first time I've seen such done to a Korean car). Awesome indeed.

I'm not sure it's Piano Black. That's usually polished ebony. This appears to be a black-stained bird's eye maple. Mercedes uses a similar wood in their AMG models, if I'm not mistaken. They aren't the only ones to use it, however. I could be wrong, because I've never considered myself to be a wood expert

Looks good
Looks very imposing from the front. Still not struck on it though, seems a bit dated to me.

Shall we discuss the difference between light blue and sky blue?:fear:

The XG300 I had was all black in the interior with some plastiwood. A totally black interior is something to adore.

Absolutely georgeous interior. That'll easily make me forget what it looks like from the outside...

Pricing will start much lower than the projected price of $93,000 US. The 93K price would be a 4.6L Limo trim. The base 3.8 will be much lower than that. I would expect to be at least $60k or maybe less. $60k is a good price for a base 3.8.

The real question is whether it is actually worth it, or whether the pricing is based more on the Equus' market position. (it is, after all, a Genesis under skin)

Should they bring this to NA like the rumors suggest, I'd sell them at a break-even price or even at a slight loss on purpose to get the vehicles out into peoples' hands. The volume for this vehicle will be small, but it does need a stand-alone brand: GENESIS.

From what I hear, the Equus is at least two years out from debuting in the US.
