Default Pontiac G5 Sedan

Hey,

Sorry I haven't been on for a while! I've been working on my drawing skills. So anyway, I was on addictinggames.com the other day and saw an advertisement for a Pontiac G5 Special Edition Sedan. I know they will be making one, but this seemed strange because it's not on pontiac's website. Let me know what you think. [IMG][/IMG]

Nothing new, just a Canada spec Pontiac G5:

The Cobalt/G5 are pretty much forgotten and are rental fleet wonders like the Cavalier and Sunbird before them. The Saturn Astra should point out how good a GM small car can be as well as how class trailing the Cobalt/G5 are. I cannot wait for the day when the G5 and G6 are replaced by the Alpha RWD platform.

So aren't the Saturn Astra and the Colbalt/G5 related? I thought they were! The doors look the same, the glasshouse looks similar, and they look the same sort of size. Personally I prefer the look of the Cobalt to the Astra, but I have never seen a real Cobalt so I'm not really able to judge properly.

Believe they are. I think they are all on the Delta platform.

Cheers for the info again!

So if they are the same then how come they're rated so differently...

I was going to comment about the same things. The main thing distinguishing the Astra from the other Delta variants is a better interior (and more importantly better seats) and (subjectively) nicer exterior styling. Truthfully, the Cobalt isn't a terrible car to drive, but the seats kill it. And while it isn't terrible, it isn't great either. The Astra (in non-Redline/GTC form) is very much the same from everything I've read.
