I absolutely love the idea of retro-inspired EVs... this ain't it tho.

I like it. Kind of how I liked the 'new beetle' when it came out...but I'm not sure that's aged well. I think this would fall into that category.

This is a bit curious. The "original" designs to which this is a homage are, IMHO, the mid-century sedans I associate w/ being products of a communist (or socialist) country. Kind of an interesting reference....

But, in terms of the design (and not the associations, per se), I like it. Conceptually, it reminds me a bit more of Nissan Figaro (designed to look like an older car) than a New Beetle (very modern interpretation of an older car).

I am speechless, honestly. This is... a homage to the FIAT 132?

Oh, how funny, I was thinking a Lada. But, in looking it up, apparently some Ladas were made w/ assistance from Fiat!

Yes, but it was the FIAT 124. I think 132 is closer because of the "reversed" front and rear ends. But yeah, classic FIAT designs all over it.

That's a weird retro design; FIrst, they have zero history themselves, the proportions look 60ies/70ies, the interior 50ies, the black bumpers look like the 80ies, whilst lights and grille are modern;

Somehow, at first It#s likeable, but diving into details it becomes weird, ALso, I think the big time of these kind of retro designs is over (might be different in CHina though).
