Default 2022 Hyundai 45 EV "Crossover"

Production version of the concept spotted. I put crossover in quotes since it's difficult to tell the actual height of this thing. Looks like it could just be a hatchback to me...

As always, it'll be interesting to see how much of the concept's interesting details carry over to production. While the silhouette is quite similar, much of the design already seems to have been softened (inlcluding the rear window), and I'd be shocked if the concept's pointy front end and severe body sculpting makes it to production.

Full credit to Hyundai, though, for trying to do something interesting design-wise w/ an EV. Perhaps this will be their version of the Honda E.

Does look a bit lifted but nothing crazy. Seems to be missing the black plastic cladding on the fenders but they appear to be removed for this prototype.

The hood shut line looks to be similar to the Nexo and not the concept. Will be interesting how much of the concept's side design will make it to production.

I also hope that much of the "70ies Ital design" crispness makes it into production, incl. teh side sculpting, even though it does seem a bit softer already,

And indeed, if this ends up 95% of the concept, this and the Honda E would be the best looking non luxury EVs, period; A Honda and a Hyundai, who would have thought. But Hyundai is really having some good looking vehicles lately...
