Probably they are using the units from teh Jaguar F-Type. Also, all teh other gadgets you list are JLR stuff(I'd include the super reliable touch sensor glove box on the older gen XF), so it is rather likely they make some gadget for the door handles.

What I do hope is that they the Velar receives certain technical advantages that clearly distinguish this car from the Jaguar F-Pace and that ensure that you receive a proper Range Rover. Top of my wish list is an air suspension.

YES. WIll incidental brushes end up activating them? Do they change functionality? Will the virtual buttons be big enough? Is there haptic feedback to let you know if you've hit the pad correctly? And, most importantly, will be reliable???

Also, when did two-tone steering wheels become a thing?

A leak of the press photos was inevitable. Feels a lot more closer to the original Ranger rover stormer concept back from 2004. Personally I like it a lot, the roofline feels a lot more sportier than the current Sport and if you ask me, this is what the RR sport should have been from the start in the 2nd gen.

If the above stops working, here is a carscoops back up

looks like someone stepped on a RR Sport which looks like someone stepped on a RR. almost expect there to be goo coming out of the back like you killed a cockroach. love the modern lines inside and out though

Lack of physical buttons = electronic disaster, esp given that this is a JLR.

Having said that, it looks swell otherwise.
