Donckerwolke has done a great job in removing gallardo's roof. I really love the looks of this concept.

It's an impressive bit of design work... but how much of this could survive through to a production version?

I would venture to say that elements of this concept also preview the Gallardo facelift, when it is rumored to be getting a 600 hp (or thereabouts) version of the V10.

I agree with JBlair on some of his points... that hood design and front bumper will probably see a future Gallardo...perhaps the rear also... (is that rear wing larger than the regular gallardo's?).
I think I can speak for everyone when i say the "Split Seating Area's" will NOT make it to ANY production vehicle.
I REALLY like the "roll bars" behind the seats though.. i hope those make it to production, they rule. The engine cover section also rules.

Lets also remember that the Murcielago Roadster Concept was called the "Murcielago Roadster Concept" (or something like that)...
This concept does not even have the Gallardo name in it.. its just the "Concept S". I wouldnt consider this a concept the same way the Murcielago Roadster Concept was "extremely close" to the production version.

This thing looks awesome. They went out on a limb trying something extreme and it turned out very nice. I'd love to see this produced.

I love it! Sorta...
Make it so that the interior is regular and one piece, but keep the unique centre division line and it'll look awesome. If the had a black patch of metal in a dip in the centre of the windscreen (that could house the rear view mirror) it'd allow for a partial carry over of the design theme.... I just love how the rear end looks.
I guess this means the Gallardo Spider is coming...

Just because they used two seperated interior sections for passengers and driver doesn't mean it's a direct ripoff of another concept (ItalDesigns). Numerous people have made concepts like that before - there's only so much new ground you can tread. And to be fair, it's not an "80's trend". Many racecars in the 50's had the same kind of seperated drivers space. Like the Jag D-Type (although it was a slightly different setup).
People are too easily calling a car a rip-off on this forum. Like people who scream "Photoshop!" on other forums (and this one too I guess). I mean - cars have a pretty standard design philosophy. It guaranteed that enventually a part might look SIMILAR to another.

I like the white colour of the Lambo's - looks very slick. But the car itself - a bit of a random idea, but good nonetheless. But I like the smoother look of the rear compared to the normal Gallardo.

Yesterday I saw this car in a magazine. It is was stated there that Lambo said that this car exact car won't make it into production.. It may go in to production, but WITHOUT the window divider..

Of course the car will not go into "Production".. and of course a "regular" convertible based on the Gallardo will get mass produced.
The point is, Lamborghini is NOW saying they MIGHT build a VERY SMALL handful of "Concept S" vehicles (exactly the same as the concept with the "dual" cockpit).. this could mean 3, or it could mean 25.. we dont know.. obviously they will be VERY special, for VERY special clients.. and I'm sure it will be a VERY sought after collectible.
