Wow... just got the April issue and it seems MT is actually improving. I like the new layout and design and more editorials. I think this Angus McKensize from CAR is actually helping turn around the magazine. I liked the new review of the E90, and everything seems do be better than what is was 6 months ago. Also noticed that they're not putting black MT plates on cars in photographs, they're actually just letting the reader see the real plates. Anyone else notice this stuff and what do you think?
MT is actually turning into a somewhat decent magazine.

yeah i noticed it too, although i still am not incredibly impressed, yes it helps the magazine but really it still has nothing really going for it strongly, but best of luck to them, and took them long enough to figure out whoever it was in angus mckenzie's current job, wasnt helping and they needed soemone new.
by the way there was a design in there by a guy named hussein something, that looked just like hussein(design)'s style (this was in the design contest thign they have), if it is husseins (which i asusme it is) good job, and i think you and the other guy in your categories designs were so much better than the winners, oh well still agreat job and congrats

I quickly glanced through the issue, and I was incredibly impressed with the changes they have made. I didn't get a chance to read the content, but the graphic design is far and away the best of any american auto magazine. (automobile is a close second)

i got the new issue and was really impressed too. the influence of angus mckenzie is obvious, and that's good thing. CAR is my favorite car magazine out there, and now motor trend has many of the things that made me like CAR (and one of those things was the graphic design). and motor trend's design is IMO now the best of the american magazines. the pictures are better now too, and alot like CAR, which i think has some of the best pictures out of all the car magazines i've seen.
