well...today on my way to go pick up my dog from the cleaners, I guess a cop on a bike clocked me going 57 in a 35...when he pulled me over he said that if I didn't have a red light (further down after he clocked me) I probably would have gotten away with it...I am assuming after he clocked me he decided to take his time and follow me, but he didnt catch up to me until the stop light i guess...well, I didnt notice him until he pulled up behind me in the shopping center where i had to go...I kinda hate myself right now...I guess you could say I was racing around with this guy next to me in a 454 SS pickup...I'm just kinda bummed now...but I was curious if anyone knew what the cost of a speeding ticket for going 57 in a 35 is in Ventura County California? If not, then maybe someone could guide me to a source on the internet which would inform me...I mean, I know I was speeding, at first I thought he came up behind me to give me a warning because I was blasting my music really loud at the stop light with all subs blazing...unfortunately that wasn't it...I just hate that street because for the most part it's a 45, then it goes down to a 35 and it's not very obvious...so while i will admit that i was still speeding, it probably wont be as bad if I was in a 45...so anyways...any help on the subject would me much appreciated...

here you go:
http://www.ci.ventura.ca.us/ne...3&z=7
There is info there on how to pay your ticket and where to go to do it. There are also a couple of numbers at the bottom where they can answer your question about how much you owe.

http://www.ticketassasin.com
i think that's the sight, might have an extra S somewhere in there
as for your ticket, I wouldn't wory about it too much, at most it'll be around $500, but probably less, then if you want to go to traffic school, that will be another $150, if you don't go to traffic school, expect your insurance to go up considerably.
Just out of curiosity, how old are you?
Oh, and you're lucky he didn't give you a ticket for having your system too loud, I got one in Newport a few years ago for that. I think if your system is 9dB or more it's a $200 fine.

thanks for the info santeno and chaserolls...and thanks also to your intelligent input on this matter Naga ...Well, I called up the court...and I guess I have to await the info to come in the mail to me...oh well...bunch of lazy asses...about my system, it wasn't up too loud when he clocked me...infact the only time it was, was at the stop light but he wouldn't have heard it...I doubt driving school is that much..I mean, I think it is usually 30 or 40 bucks on top of the violation if I want to go...thats what it was when my friend got one anyways...I should be expecting around a $300 fine I am assuming...
