Well, tonight a little part( read: the most stupid part ) of Texas landed at Brussels airport, that and the nato-summit and an EU summit have made Brussels like it is under siege.
Chances are police are so agitated they will shoot Bush by accident, wel fingers crossed at least.

Yeah, they will not stop until they control every country on the petrol pipe route: Afganistan - Iran - Irak - Siria
The Siria political cover has started, Mrs.Condomleeza already pointed Siria for the Libano's bomb. i guess CIA is behind it. They must think we are all stupid ignorants or something. Not that we can do anything about it, but please.....invent something smart for once.
No offense, but in politics the US is not a country to be proud of.

Modified by Reppu at 8:36 AM 2/21/2005

Please don't ever imagine that Syria is a peace-loving country that only has the best interests of the middle-east in mind. According to some sources, including die Welt newspaper (Germany), Syria tested chemical weapons in the Sudan recently. On civilians in the Dafur region.
Syrian soldiers have been in Lebanon for 30 years. For the sea air? I think not.
Even France, that has very different way of maintaining foreign relations with problem countries, like Syria, is exasperated.

Whatever.....Saddam is better off dead, but him being a criminal didn't give the US the right of invading. Come on, we all know what is it all about, that Evil Axis thing is bull****.

I'm not happy about the way the government runs this place either but I rather be here than any where else in the world dispite the fact. this is why everyone hates us
we (our govt) care too much about other people's business...let them deal with their own prosperity and crap...we don't need to get in the way...but for some reason we always do, and always comes down to money, oil, power, etc

The CIA's powerful and sinister, but they can't be everywhere at once.
You're probably right about the Afghanistan-Iran-Iraq-Syria oil pipeline comment, though. I mean just look at the evidence, right? Couldn't be more plain.
Hundreds of billions down the drain for invading Iraq and tiny Afghanistan, our armed forces stretched to the limit, record deficits, no real end in sight to these two wars, oil prices still rising (even though we "control" the Iraqi pipelines) but yes, you're right. The US must be planning on single-handedly invading and taking over an extra 100 million irate and pissed-off Muslims. That is the obvious conclusion. Now if we could only pin that on Santa Claus too................

I am surprised this has lasted this far; usually highly political threads such as this one get deleted. Just my two-cents:
At least Bush is making an attempt to mend the relations, seeing as how the same can barely be said of the other nations involved. Granted, this time around France and Germany are making just as much of an effort as the US is. (Russia seems to be trying to start another Cold-War type situation but thats a whole other political discussion). It's good to see that an effort is being made, and I hope that something will actually come of it this time. And while it is good to see that others have opinions, it is disturbing to see that many of those opinions are ill-informed and poorly expressed. (half of getting your message across is explaining it in a logical, unbiased way)

They are called French Fries, altough they are Belgian, and not Freedom fries. Freedom fries is just a name given by Americans who can not comprehend why most people were against the war in Iraq and believe all countries must follow George Wanker Bush like a little dog.
and no, I did not know that
