He's turning two. He must like Bob the Builder, or cars or trains. Forget the iPod or PS2 lol, get him something educational. :)

well, maybe you should get your "son" an s-class as an early 16th birthday present since you can clearly afford it

A puppy, every little boy needs a dog. It can be his best friend, after you of course.

Get him a big, cuddly teddy bear that isn't too fuzzy so that he'll have something to comfort him and so that he wouldn't end up getting hairs in his mouth.
That or a iPod Shuffle. Little children don't need LCDs.

He's 2 yrs old. He doesn't need an iPod as of yet I wouldn't think.
Maybe just like a teddy bear, or like an action figurine, books, but really - he's turning two, I wouldn't think he would care whatever he got - it would probably break in two to three months anyway. So nothing expensive!

Certainly something soft to chew on. Something large and fun too. he's walking, stable, hmm, trying to decide where we were at 2. Both my kids were like me, about 4 months behind on walking, but able to do it long before then, just lazy. hehe
I'd say get something like osh-kosh's because they help when the kid goes through the terrible 2s, hehehe. A few nice-sized building blocks like Legos mega blocks, so he can be creative and work the mind. Books. Big pictures, few words, the sooner you start the better LOL (ok, it works better when they're three but there is no harm in it)
Basicaly anything large that can't be eaten and requires basic fine motor skills, picking up and putting in type things, snapping, buckles, etc. (thanks Terri)
Mine are grown up, so I'm aiming either high or low if you think anything I wrote was stupid hehe. 2 was an awkward age, but a lot happens during it. have fun.

Note: when I said "something to chew on" I was referring o my family because my brother, me, and both my kids are/were what we call "dentally retarded"
that is, it took too long for teeth to start growing (my Mom was getting worried) and both my kids were the same way, took about 2 months longer than it should have. I lost my first tooth at 8 (it had to be forced out), my daughter lost hers at 7 (and in the last year has only lost 2 others) and my 6 year old son hasn't lost any yet
You shouldn't have TOO much of a problem with that any more

Kids love toys that sing, play a music and are colorful.
You're going to have a lot of noise

He like cars. I got him a HUGE cuddly bear. He was playing with him today and I thought he got lost. I started panicking then I realised the bear was on top of him. LOL. Thank you for your suggestions. THANK YOU!!!!!

My aunt thinks it could be a genetic problem because she claims that she's missing a few teeth, as well.
