I'm not even sure I made the right decision. There are soo many great albums by great artists/bands. I could have added some Rage Against The Machine, Smashing Pumpkins, Pearl Jam, A Perfect Circle, Apocalyptica, Deftones, Chevelle, Marilyn Manson, Korn, Metallica and so on to the list.... but I'm only allowed to post the Top-5 so....

1 - Bjork, Homogenic. Joga is my favorite song ever;
2 - Tori Amos, From the choirgirl hotel. I like all her work ( well, her early work ), but this is perfection;
3 - Nirvana, Unplugged. All the songs, none of the hipe. As it should be;
4 - Sigur Ros, Agaetys byrjun. For all i know, they can be saying bad things about my mother, but they make it sound really good;
5 - Portishead, Dummy. Anything by them or Beth Gibbons, this is cooler coz it came out first;
And then, Beck, Radiohead, Ladytron, Goldfrapp, Herbert, REM, Placebo, Pj Harvey... and Kylie . A new one should be coming this year. I'm excited - Home From Home wasn't as good as Pennybridge, but still solid.
Here's my list, right now but I'll probably change it in a few minutes, haha...
- The Clash - London Calling
- Pink Floyd - The Wall
- Sublime - Sublime
- Led Zepplin - Led Zepplin II
- Stevie Ray Vaughn - Texas Flood
The funny thing is that this is really not the kind of music I listen to on a regular basis, but if I had to pick what I never get bored of it would be those albums.
What really strikes me as interesting about the lists that people have been posting - not to discredit any choices - is how much newer stuff is on it. I think of classics as the albums that really stand the test of time. As an example, I have an Alkaline Trio tattoo that I got two and a half years ago, and I still love them - but I wouldn't put any of their albums on greatst ever list yet.
Now if we're talking about a list of what I were listening to recently it would be something like:
- None More Black - File Under Black
- Strike Anywhere - Exit English
- Dragonforce - Sonic Flarestorm
- Black Label Society - The Blessed Hellride
- Thrice - The Illusion of Safety
Again, pretty diverse stuff, but gives a better idea of what I listen too. Of course, its different than from this time last year, and probably will be different in a month, haha.

Pop is dead; for the moment. The current trends (from what I'm seeing) is more directed towards like more rock and roll, 80's rock and dance music. All of which I'm a fan of. THe glory days of pop were the 90's and wait just another 5-10 years; we will see another pop resurgence, stronger than ever.

How could you NOT like Micheal Jackson? Sure, his off-stage antics are questionable, but you can't deny his extraordinary voice and his funky dance moves - he's piled on hit after hit; Ben, Beat It, Thriller, Black and White etc. All of which are great songs.
