So who is your favorite cartoon/comic book hero or character and why?
I've always been partial to anti-hero type characters. Characters who aren't necessarily good, but who end up doing good things even though they don't intend to.
Wolverine, Preacher, & Hellboy come to mind.
I also love likeable failure type characters, that no mater how hard they try they never obtain their goal (the Coyote and Marvin the Martian being my favorites).
How about you guys?

Growing up, I've always liked Coyote. Although he never got what he wanted, no matter how hard he tried, I liked his determination to never give up

Transformers because they could transform from cars and robots! And plus I used to watch them when I was a youngster!
Inspector Gadget is another favorite childhood cartoon. I liked how penny and the brain always helped out the inspector when he got himeself into trouble and the Inspector's CAR!!!!! Oh man!!!! He has got one cool car!!! It can transform from a sports car into a van and it had massive hydraulics. What more could you want from a car?
ROBOCOP is not really from a comic book but he is one of my most favorite heros. He drives a 1987 Ford Tarus SHO
Any of the characters from 200AD. Judge Dredd is my favourite because of the super villains, the comment on how future society will develop based on today's flaws, and his hard ass attitude.
Nemesis, Rogue trooper, Strontium Dog and Slaine, all classics.
