if you are going to get ps through p2p, be very careful. photoshop is about the most popular illicit download these, so bogus versions filled with viruses are very common.

Like I've said before, Paint Shop Pro is a damn site cheaper, has a friendlier learning-curve and most of the functionality. Version 9 is out now, but I do all my work in v7.
