MotorMax makes a nice-looking Pagani Zonda in 1/18 scale. Not quite Kyosho, but about the same quality as Maisto or Hot Wheels/Mattel. Check eBay.
I'm looking for an F430 myself, any scale. The only one I've been able to find so far is a 1/43 BBR, but BBR is a little out of my price range.

No card needed to enter, but to buy something you need to be a member (they are technically wholesalers). Many businesses are members and their employees get free memberships. if you are not a business you have to pay a yearly fee. the last time I checked it was about $25.00. It definitely worth it. you can get some steep discounts on a large variety of goods.

To get in Sam's Club you DO need to have a member card, there are always people standing on the entrance asking you to show your card if you dont have one you cant go in, unless you are going to get one. And the year is i think $35.00 at Sam's.

Why do some cars cost way more than others? Is it because of how much detail the manufacturer puts in? For example the 7-series costs $108 and the Lambo Murcielago only costs $40 (7-series made by kyosho, murcielago made by maisto)

Yeah - I have nothing spectacular. Just a bunch of typical Miasto ones I get on sale usually. haha...
I have a few mostly 1:18 ones, and a few 1:24 ones. I started collecting Hot Wheels cars for my desk at work, and that's ballooned to about 200 cars now I think. I don't consider them "models", but I have been buying the odd Jesse James lowrider, and Johnny Lighting cars.
The pics I'm posting don't focus on a car, but how many their are at my apartment.
First pic - my living room. Only one shot as I don't want to bore you, but the bottom of the TV is filled with 1:24 lowriders (and a few PS2 games). Behind that on the blue shelf there are 12 more 1:18 models (and one 1:24), and all the magazines there are car magazines. Then on the (infamous) "free-standing" ladder bookcase (it's proped up with telephone books) I have some EVO mags beside the yellow National Geographics, and a sole 1:18 Gallardo. Not visible is a CD shelf with 4 1:24 models and a 1:18 Mini. Not many posters - just one not visible of a 20's Mercedes.

http://img57.echo.cx/img57/1992/living11pl.jpg
PS - Ignore the weed-whacker ad on TV.

Thanks for the info Moorhouse.
But why is GPL is rip off? I've bought from them in the past and I think that it's the same price at the site you suggested and P&P is 2.50, can't remember how much it is at GPL. There does seem to be more choice than on GPL.
I think I might go for the Volante but the Solido one is in Guernsey red... argh choices choices!!!
Good luck with your AS levels, I remember mine. The 4002 is mass produced, I think it's made by Norev.
It is a small collection, but its also a great one, with three beautiful cars.
Soon (Q3 2005) there will be a "high end" 1/18 CLS model, with real leather seats, made by Kyosho (I think) which should be worth waiting for.
Also, there will be an M5 "ring taxi" model in Q4 2005, which will certainly be a big hit. It will be in 1/18 and 1/43.

Apropos eBay.. about a week ago I was looking around for die cast cars and found a black CLS by Maisto.. I know it's a good model because I bought one as a birthday present for an MB-fanatic friend four months ago.
The car I found on eBay cost 16 .. that's really cheap for such a model (I bouth the present for about 30 !) and there were only 33 seconds left to the end of the auction.. so I typed my price quickly and sent my request.. but I wasn't logged in so I had to log in and that took the whole 33 seconds so my bid wasn't sent

Nice pics, I like the Smart ForFour.
Maybach 62, stunning model and I can really suggest getting one. The Ring Taxi will be available in 1/18 and 1/43 before 2006 from BMW dealerships.
The V8 Vantage is released by HotWheels (I believe) but common sense says wait for the AutoArt one which will arrive in early 2006.
The W221 is out in MB dealerships now. If you wait 6 months, the standard release will be out and will be a lot cheaper. Not such a good model, only front doors open. Sometime in 2006, Kyosho will be making a 'high end' one which has leather seats etc.
The Phantom, bad news. As far as I know the project has been put on hold. I assume Rolls Royce are working on a facelift for 07, and feel that waiting would be easier. On another note, the 100EX has also been put on hold. Although Rolls Royce can't confirm many details, I have got out of them that it will not be a Kyosho, which leaves me thinking Franklin Mint or AutoArt.
The model world is awful at the minute. Labour costs in the far east have mean't that minimal profits are being made, which is making models harder and harder to produce.
On another note, I get my SLR in two weeks!

Thanks for all the info... If you don't mind me asking, where do you get all of it? I've sent emails to Rolls Royce, Aston, and Mercedes regarding the Phantom, V8 Vantage, and W221 models yet they havn't replyed yet :P
Oh, reagarding the 325ti compact... the little bastards at Exoticar overcharged me by a little over $15 from what it said on the website. I got everything squared away, but I think Exoticar listed the price wrong, as I got it for the same price in the end as some Maisto models (Much higher quality than Maisto too)
Yeah, I'll defiently wait for the AutoArt V8 Vantage. I have one HotWheels car, and it's the worst quality out of all my cars.
The SLR is CMC, right?

I called Exoticar today worried, and the person on the other side of the line said that they're still on backorder, but there's a good chance that Exoticar will recieve a shipment by the end of the month.
Last night, I ordered a 1/18 Kyosho BMW 745i, which should be in by Monday!

Zwei, sorry to misinform u but the shipment wasn't the one u or I was looking for... We both ordered a maisto smart car the one the came in was the kyosho smart car. I don't like to wait for my models so whenever something is on backorder I drop it from my order and replace it with something of equal value. Replaced my smart car with the chrysler 300c.

Wait... I ordered the Kyosho smart fortwo Brabus Edition. You're saying that you recieved it from Exoticar?
I called Exoticar yesterday. They still have no idea when their next batch of Kyosho smarts will come in. Unfortuantly, I've read many reports of poor service from them, hopefully this doesn't become another bad case against them.

Why? Many of their cars are already overpriced, they have terrible customer service, and they never have anything in stock. If you want a good site, go here- http://www.scale18.com
They have a great selection and many of their cars are cheaper than Exoitcar.
