Well, she went to the Mazda dealer and got the shove off by the manager because she came at 9 PM, so I told her I'd meet her at noon Christmas Eve at a different dealership, but she showed up at my house in the Corolla at 11 AM Christmas eve
She had no intention of even looking, stubborn as always, and got what she wanted. Oh well, Corolla's not bad, just not as good IMO. I'm thrilled she got what she wanted
It's a Luxury Edition, 6 CD changer, Power Everything, Electrochromatic mirror, trip computer, cruise, LoJack, Security system, remote keyless entry, leather wrapped wheel and shifter, but she didn't spring for the leather seats. I think it's all she didn't get on it.
Good deal too. It came to $15,993 after arguments, it stickered with options at just over $18,000. She was pre approved for $16,000 and the dealer was sealing it as a loss leader at $16,032 originally, so she threatened to walk out of the deal unless he could break below the 16k mark, so he did.
