Here's some renderings of my first three attempts at 3D car design, I used Rhino with Flamingo as my renderer. I am not very skilled with computers and am totally self taught, although I have had a few cyber buddies at Motor Trend Forum help with my design direction, especially Luzt Finsterwalder, a professional German car designer. Pegasus is actually done from drawings that another guy (SigmaProjects) asked if anyone would do a 3D rendering for him, but it took on a life of it's own. BelCobra was totally spontaneous and was the first. It has lines in it from the render I was using, it was a trial version. The Mustang was the second and I did it as an exercise to practice control.<p>Comments are very much welcome. Thanks...... <IMG NAME="icon" SRC="http://www.germancarfans.com/images/forums/driver.gif" BORDER="0"> <p><br><IMG SRC="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v663/flydaddy/Morningrear.jpg" BORDER="0"> <p><IMG SRC="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v663/flydaddy/Morning.jpg" BORDER="0"><p><IMG SRC="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v663/flydaddy/Backshot.jpg" BORDER="0"><p><IMG SRC="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v663/flydaddy/Sig.jpg" BORDER="0"><p><IMG SRC="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v663/flydaddy/stangpst.jpg" BORDER="0"><p><IMG SRC="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v663/flydaddy/InteriorIII.jpg" BORDER="0"><p><IMG SRC="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v663/flydaddy/Dashing.jpg" BORDER="0"><p><IMG SRC="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v663/flydaddy/gettingthere.bmp" BORDER="0"><p><IMG SRC="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v663/flydaddy/sideview.jpg" BORDER="0"><p><IMG SRC="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v663/flydaddy/BodybyBeav.jpg" BORDER="0"><p><IMG SRC="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v663/flydaddy/newsigg.jpg" BORDER="0"><p><IMG SRC="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v663/flydaddy/Pegbeachsig.jpg" BORDER="0"><p><IMG SRC="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v663/flydaddy/Renpeg.jpg" BORDER="0"><p>

Very nice indeed! I am noone to judge them, however, a little more texture could be good, maybe just a few more reflections and lighting effects will do the trick, , but hey, other than that, I'm impressed!

most of them are awesome, but the last one is too choppy and unfinished looking IMO, of course you're alot better than i would be <IMG NAME="icon" SRC="http://www.germancarfans.com/images/forums/beerchug.gif" BORDER="0"> <BR><BR>

My brother worked in Bogata in the early 80's............ Anyway, I have started to redo a few things on Pegasus (Sigma Projects asked for some changes) and I'll post my improvements in a few days. I appreciate the comments, I don't get very many...............

You are right, I never really finished it, and I used rubber seals around the windows and doors, which were kind of rough looking. I've redone a lot, I think you'll like it............

this stuff is pretty cool, such renderings look hard to do
