On this picture, you can see it between the Audi A4 convertible and the R9. I hope that there will be larger pictures soon.

To me Right Now Lamborghini is the only car company that could come out with something TOTALLY STUPID, yet I could still justify it being 'Awesome' solely because its a 'Lamborghini'.
I don't think that Lambo needs an SUV, it is purely for sales. It would destroy the exoticism of the brand. The Gallardo has already sold 3000 copies, so why a SUV to ruin the brand?

Companies such as Lamborghini were not founded to chase market trends. In fact, these exotic companies get their allure and reputation by building audacious vehicles that have almost zero practicality. Leave the chasing trends to mainstream brands like VW, Ford, Toyota etc. Lamborghini was founded to produce high-performance racing and sports cars.
I'm sure the boys at Lambo could figure out how to make a high-performance Motorhome, but that doesn't mean they should...

hey guys,
lamborghini isn't "following" any market trends;
if anything they probably invented this particular
market niche'.
the mighty LM002 was originally conceived as a project for the military in 1977.it was by all means the ORIGINAL hummer.
however,am general won with their hummer
due to it's reliability in all conditions and cheaper
unit price.
the lm002 was in fact 90% of the hummer in all out ability, but it was able to do 135mph and 0-62 in 7.8sec!!!!!
the private versions also had leather and air-con even before the range rover.
Hans Lehmann is one of the true greats. He was snapping spy photos before most of you were born. His chops, however, well, I like to think that he really loves whoever does them for him and wants to give them something to do.

I don't have an issue with Lamborghini building a SUV (although I much prefer the Estoque), but I have an issue with the laziness of that particular design. It looks like a plain Lamboghiniesque fascia slapped onto an elevated body (Porsche Cayenne, anyone?). I really hope that this isn't real...

I get what you mean and i agree. I was also thinking: Didn't Lambo declare a couple of years ago that they refuse to use VAG group parts used in Porsche and Audi as they wanted their cars to remain more unique? I thought that also included them using an existing Cayenne/Touareg platform for their SUV...? Then again there is the R8

I imagine the crossover planned for the NA Passat's platform would make sense as a Toerag replacement worldwide. That would let Porsche, Audi, Bentley, and Lamborghini be able to design an appropriate platform.

Whilst still being too much of an evolution of the Lamborghini design language, I much prefer this chop to the one on the previous page.

Always going to be an interesting if not polarizing model.
Suggestion here is that it will appear in Bejing

I must say if I was in the market for a car like this I would take this over the Bentley version in a second.
