This is from PM so its probably 98% incorrect
I just thought it was interesting. I wonder if the new 900's will have a similar look.

source: PM

it looks like a cross between the new audi grille, a pathfinder, and something else

Could this be Envoy replacement? Because i see no point in having 2 SUV's in the line up when thet are basically the same in temrs of packaging like the engines and seating capabilities.

Wow.
The huge grill is possible, since GM seems to be going towards huge grills and huge badges (or at least on the CSVs...... which could be an indication for trucks overall).
But considering the Avalon..... I'd say this is 100% incorrect.

has PM ever been correct on anything? While this is neat looking and everything, it is merely a dream...

But its for real and its the first of a new SUV line that GM will sell under both Pontiac and GMC badges. Built on the companys Lambda front-drive platform, it features three-row seating in a vehicle that is smaller than the current Envoy and Chevy TrailBlazer. Mechanicals include a choice of four-, five- or six-cylinder engine, a six-speed automatic and front- or all-wheel drive. The GMC version stands out from the crowd with a huge grille, flaring wheel arches and a high-set, wraparound backlite. As for neat tricks, a close look shows there are no signs of rear door handles. Look for this vehicle to be in production by 07, most likely built at a Lansing, Mich.-area plant.

It was determined to be the sub-theta platform GMC vehicle. Apparently someone snuck a photo of this full clay model inside the GM design dome. Supposedly it shows up around the '09 MY.
