Based on the popular and critically acclaimed Shannon Series 6, the Borrello will continue Avioli's renaissance of quality, driving dynamics, and style that began in 2004 with the Alvito.<p><B>Breathtaking style</B><p>The Borrello could possibly be described as the most beautiful Avioli ever, with its sensuous shape, coupe-like profile and timeless front- and rear-end designs. The front end is an evolution on the Alvito theme, with large triangular headlights and an intimidating V-shaped grille. The taillights use LED bulbs, making their sleek design possible, while the rear deck echoes the front with its arch-like shape.<p><B>Excellent quality and comfort</B><p>The Alvito has been praised for its high-quality interior, and the Borrello continues this tradition. No panel gaps are wider than 2mm, and both the top and bottom halves of the dashboard are covered in the highest-quality materials, all soft to the touch.<p>The seats have been designed to accommodate a wide range of shapes and sizes, ensuring maximum comfort, while the instrument panel has been angled toward the driver, reinforcing the Borrello?s dynamic image and guaranteeing the best ergonomics possible. <p><B>Superb performance</B><p>The Borrello isn?t short on performance, either. A total of six engines are available, in four, six, and eight cylinder form. The entry-level 2.0-litre four develops 175bhp, capable of pushing the Borrello to 100 km/h in 8.8 seconds. The 2.0-litre turbodiesel has similar performance, while managing 44.4mpg on the combined cycle.<p>The new 3.5-litre inline six develops a best-in-class 283bhp, giving the Borrello 3.5i 0-100 km/h acceleration of six seconds flat. Other available engines are a 3.0-litre turbodiesel, a 4.5-litre V-8, and a 4.5-litre V-8 turbodiesel.<p>The chassis, steering and suspension have all been engineered for optimum driving enjoyment. The driving experience is even more engaging than the Shannon Series 6, which was praised for its dynamics.<p><B>On sale late 2005</B><p>The Borrello will be available in Europe 1 October 2005, with American and Australian sales following 25 October and global sales beginning 1 December. </TD></TR></TABLE><p><IMG SRC="http://img389.imageshack.us/img389/7858/borrellofront8us.jpg" BORDER="0"><br><IMG SRC="http://img389.imageshack.us/img389/6003/borrellorear9eo.jpg" BORDER="0"><br><IMG SRC="http://img389.imageshack.us/img389/8821/borrellointerior6qv.jpg" BORDER="0"><p><A HREF="http://img353.imageshack.us/img353/5903/avioliborelloblueprint1qt.jpg" TARGET="_blank"><B>Exterior Blueprint</B></A><BR><BR>

Absolutely stunning I think this is your best work to date. The interior is a little bland but this is a great effort.

wow, i didn't expect to get this many replies in one day, but then again, this section has gotten a lot more active lately <IMG NAME="icon" SRC="http://www.germancarfans.com/images/forums/biggrin.gif" BORDER="0"> <p><TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD><i>Quote, originally posted by <b>Krypton</b> &raquo;</i></TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">It is stunning<p>I havent heard of this one of your brands, what segment does the brand compete in </TD></TR></TABLE><p>thanks <IMG NAME="icon" SRC="http://www.germancarfans.com/images/forums/biggrin.gif" BORDER="0"> avioli competes with mercedes, BMW, audi, and, in the montgomery group, shannon. avioli is actually my friend's made-up brand, but two or three years ago (i forget the exact date) montgomery took it over. mainly, i design the cars, and my friend tells me if he likes them or not (and i change the designs if he doesn't). <p><TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD><i>Quote, originally posted by <b>Graffititech</b> &raquo;</i></TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">nice sketch, but i dont like the styling too much..maybe its the color..im not sure what it is but i dont like it too much</TD></TR></TABLE><p>that's fine, you don't have to like it <IMG NAME="icon" SRC="http://images.zeroforum.com/smile/emthup.gif" BORDER="0"> avioli seems to get more of a love/hate response than my other cars, but i guess that's what shannon is for <IMG NAME="icon" SRC="http://images.zeroforum.com/smile/emwink.gif" BORDER="0"> <p><TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD><i>Quote, originally posted by <b>knihc2008</b> &raquo;</i></TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">the interior and rear design smacks of alfa 159, no? <p>it's.. okay. the front freaks me out, personally. that huge "V."</TD></TR></TABLE><p>well, the interior is pretty similar to the 159, but i love that interior...i know i should have made a better effort to make it more unique, but ah well, it's too late now <IMG NAME="icon" SRC="http://images.zeroforum.com/smile/emsad.gif" BORDER="0"><p><TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD><i>Quote, originally posted by <b>...DamagedProphet...</b> &raquo;</i></TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">Great design, taillights look a bit dated though</TD></TR></TABLE><p>i thought the taillights looked good in the blueprint i made, but when i actually put it in a drawing i thought they looked somewhat dated too, mainly the piece inside the trunk lid i thought.<p>thanks for the comments so far, and i hope the comments keep coming, i like to know what people think! <IMG NAME="icon" SRC="http://www.germancarfans.com/images/forums/beigesmilewinkgrin.gif" BORDER="0"> <BR><BR>

I actually really like the taillights. I bet they would look sweet at night in the dark. Maybe just some more clear and yellow and less red in them, but i really like the horizontal bar shape.

I agree with "the most beautiful Avioli ever"!!!! it's really beautiful. <br>outside. I don't like its interior, it's not too original, looks like copied from audi or something. ...<p>still, you're my new idol at designing <IMG NAME="icon" SRC="http://images.zeroforum.com/smile/emwink.gif" BORDER="0">

Really nice, my favourite design from you ever. I love the Alfa-esque look to the rear. Although the interior is unoriginal it does no take awy from the car!
