But, most Chevelle concepts are kind of the same old, same old; picking out and taking cues from the now legendary '70 SS396/454 models. Well, I did the same here by picking out cues from the '69 model, which is to me a little more elegant and muscular than the '70s version. So I tried to make the '69 model more modern.
Also, I've decided that this car will lay down the foundation for my future concepts for Chevy. They'll all have dual headlights, like many early Chevys, and the crossbar. It's time a little more heritage gets thrown in GM's mainstream brand.

Looks great...though I think it could look even better with a Pontiac front end.

I like it, design-wise. It's got a nice muscle car look to it, pretty mean.
But the car as a whole looks kind of low and long... like it's been streeeetched out. The wheelbase is too long, the roof's a little low, and the left side of the windshield extends too far, IMO.
But it's such a nice, clean sketch, and your ideas are always really fresh! I wish they'd build something like this!

I agree with domino.
The back somehow reminds me of the Ferrari Testarossa. It looks fairly long.
But I LIKE that drawin.
PROPS DUDE!!!

Kakairo: Heh, if you want to know a funny fact, Ponitac did just that with the Chevelle in '69. They slapped on the ol' dual ports and some rear side skirts and called it the Beaumont.
