Project Isuzu has been updated!
A new Isuzu Impulse has arrived! This new Impulse picks up on simple cues from the '90 model, such as the placement of the doorhandles and the shape of the taillamps. Plus, you may see a companion "bread wagon" version later on. Remember this?

Also, I'll be giving news on the new models in this post.
For the new Impulse, look in the post above. Enjoy!!!

The D-Series sounds cool, i'm guessing a full size truck? Maybe the already existing Isuzu H-Series can get a pickup bed and become a super huge pickup and an image car, kind of like the International RXT.
Isuzu H-Series- http://www.isuzucv.com/images/h_white2.jpg

The front fascia and generally, the whole car should look more unique.

As you can see with the new Impulse, the design of the new cars will be more distinct, clean, and muscular. Enjoy the new Impulse everyone! :)

Wow. I've gotten real sidetracked lately and I forgot about this. Well, since I've found myself wanting to do other things, like design a new Chevelle based around the simply clean looks of the '69 model, I'll do only the following concepts. Maybe one truck, but the real purpose of this is to show what Isuzu cars would look like today if I could design them.
What You'll See:
Redesigned Isuzu Piazza (coupe)
Redesigned Isuzu Stylus (sedan)
New Isuzu I-Mark (sedan)
New Isuzu Oasis (Sportvan)

Watch closely, they'll come.

These are nice. I sketched a new Impulse too... I used the last model for inspiration.
I think if Isuzu went back to making cars as well they would do pretty good. With the tuner market, imports with a solid platform and sporty perfomance do very well. They would just need to set it up so that they don't have to sell a whole lot to be profitable.

I think they should co-develop with Mitsubishi. Mitsubishi Co. now owns around 12% of Isuzu and has displaced GM as the largest shareholder. Since Mitsu needs some help replenishing SUVs like Montero, I think they should collaborate, Isuzu doing trucks and SUVs, Mitsu doing sporty cars. But I would want to see ALOT of distinction between the twin models, same underpinnings but different bodies and sheetmetal, like the Hyundai Tucson and Kia Sportage. They are the same but alot different.
Oh and btw Anorexorcist, I really like the Isuzu logo you have in the last Impulse drawing, the one in the pendant. That would be a good one for new models.
