During the press release of the 2005 GM Omega, this prototype was caught testing. It's based on our current Astra, with a slightly bigger wheel base. Sorry, only in portuguese... http://www2.uol.com.br/bestcar...a.htm
Source http://www.bcws.com.br

The article says it has many things from the new astra and is quite difrent from the european vectra.
It is going to use many components from the astra and european vectra to reduce costs.
It`s like an astra sedan...but is going to substitute the brazilian vectra, wich is the same european vectra from the generation before the actual one!
The suspentions will be the same of the astra.
2.0 de 127,6 cv
2.416v 150/160 cv
Any translation of portuguese i can make it, just ask!

So we will not have the new Opel Zafira or Opel Astra yet in the place of the current models.
